We believe that the education, training and life experience of our instructors make us the best swim instructors. Our instructors are passionate water safety advocates, knowledgeable, and bring their unique perspective and personality into the pool. Instructors are trained in our unique SaferSooner method which helps identify students' strengths, and develop a customized swim program that leverages individual learning style and natural physical ability. No one is stuck in a group class repeating skills already attained, or left at the side of the pool to watch others practice skills they're not ready to do. All teachers are insured and have been through child sexual abuse prevention training.

Jennifer is the founder and CEO of LifeCycle Aquatics. In addition to teaching, Jennifer directs the marketing, programming and instructor training. Jennifer grew up swimming and competitive racing in Houston, Texas. After corporate burn-out from thirty years in the shoe business, Jennifer started teaching swimming at our local YMCA "just to keep busy." With her business background, she quickly realized that our community was underserved both in quantity and quality of swim lessons - and she started LifeCycle Swim School. The curriculum that Jen developed puts special emphasis on safety and building confidence in the water. Jen teaches at Midland Ave on Mon/Tues/Thurs. Jen is also available for home pool lessons.
Jennifer teaches all ages and all abilities - baby and guardian classes, toddlers, and all ages beginner through advanced racing. Jennifer also has experience teaching those who experience anxiety in and around water. Jennifer also teaches students who learn, move or behave differently due to a variety of disabilities.

Hi! My name is Dedrie I am 20 years old, I am a Bahamian national swimmer, currently attending Felician University. With 17 years of swimming experience and 7 years as a swim instructor, I am passionate about helping others build the skills and confidence to swim safely. I believe in the importance of water safety and survival skills, and I'm dedicated to making swimming accessible to all ages and skill levels. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and focused on ensuring that every student not only learns to swim but also enjoys the process. I'm committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all swimmers to thrive.

JACLYN H.
My name is Jaclyn. I'm majoring in finance and accounting at the University of Georgia. I've been a certified lifeguard for the past four years, and have swim instructor experience for two and a half years. I've always been passionate about swimming. I did swim team for 6 years, including 2 years on the Wyckoff YMCA Sharks where I specialized in butterfly and freestyle. As a swim instructor, I've taught students ages 2-14, and have taught all strokes, as well as dives and flip turns. I believe that swimming is a life skill, and I love having the opportunity to work with children to develop these skills.
