Best Adult Swim Lessons in New Jersey

It's never too late to learn to swim or to refine swimming strokes.  In our adult swimming classes we emphasize the science of swimming. Though adult students need to learn the same skills as children, we teach adults using language and techniques that leverage the advanced cognition that adults have.  If you already know the basics, or learned to swim as a child, you may be surprised to discover that stroke mechanics have changed significantly over the last forty years. We know a lot more about swimming efficiency through the advanced study of hydrodynamics and physiology, new technology such as underwater cameras, and studying some amazing Olympic swimmers. If you never learned to swim, want to update your mechanics, or keep up with your kids, we can help.

Private Lessons  Allow us to Execute the 3 Key Principles that Accelerate Progress

CUSTOM LESSONS
Although our instructors follow our curriculum, we've built in some wiggle room so teachers can leverage each student's strengths. It's part of our SaferSooner philosophy that lets teachers create a smooth learning path for each student.  This strategy boosts confidence, helping each student move forward.
MAXIMIZE PRACTICE TIME
Everyone knows the more you practice, the better you get. It's a life lesson that can be taught during the learn-to-swim process. Our teachers give students lots of practice time. Small class sizes help, but teachers are also trained in class organization strategies that maximize practice time.
GIVE CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK
Our teachers give individual, constructive feedback so that students have specific areas to improve each time they swim. Our teachers show more than tell. They correct body position and gross motor skills first, ensuring that students have the foundation to make refinements later.
