LifeCycle Swim School teachers are swim instruction professionals who care deeply about water safety and swimming. We aren't the least expensive swim school because to ensure we get the best teachers, we pay them more than other swim schools. They don't just know swimming - they understand the learning process, and how to apply teaching strategies to the learn-to-swim journey. Some of our teachers have an education background, and may have experience with those who learn, behave, or move differently. Some also have racing experience, so can help advance students' skills for competition. We value each teacher's unique personality and style, and encourage them to make swim class fun.  We also give our teachers regular feedback so they can keep improving their teaching. All of our teachers are:

• Fully insured under our general business policy
• Trained in our SaferSooner method.
• Lifeguard certified, including CPR/AED and First Aid
• Background checked
• Have attended child sexual abuse prevention training

CUSTOMIZE LESSONS

Although our instructors follow our curriculum, teachers are also trained to leverage each student's strengths using our SaferSooner method. This lets teachers create a customized, and typically faster learning path for each student.  The method boosts confidence, helping each student move forward.

MAXIMIZE PRACTICE TIME

Everyone knows the more you practice, the better you get. It's a life lesson that we leverage during the learn-to-swim process. Our teachers give students lots of practice time. Small class sizes help, but teachers are also trained in class organization strategies that maximize practice time.

GIVE CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK

Our teachers give individual, constructive feedback so that students have specific areas to improve each time they swim. Our teachers show more than tell. They correct body position and gross motor skills first, ensuring that students have the foundation to make refinements later.
