Why did you decide to become a lifeguard? *

Most of the requests we get for private events are for parties that include children between the ages of 2 and 10, with guardians present the entire time. We are therefore looking for people with the following qualities: PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL and PERSONABLE. We also look for lifeguards who are CONFIDENT exercising the authority that lifeguarding gives them. Do these qualities describe you? Can you give us some examples? *

Being assigned to lifeguard at a party follows this process: First, candidates will apply to be included on our LG roster via resume, video interview and providing a reference. If you earn a spot on the roster you'll have access to an online platform where we post private event lifeguarding opportunities. Lifeguards then have the option to request to guard the event. Most events require only one lifeguard. If you are the first lifeguard to request the event, and assuming you have the proper experience, we will assign you to the event. We provide the lifeguard tube and first aid kit. Lifeguards provide their own mask, whistle and transportation. LifeCycle Staff will review the property with the homeowner before the event, and pass along the information to the guard. Pay starts at $22 per hour, and may be higher depending on experience. We cannot guarantee that homeowners will tip the lifeguard, however most do tip. I think that this opportunity: *

Our LG opportunities are "contract" positions. LG's will sign an agreement committing to the event and pay rate. After the event, LG's submit a bill to LifeCycle Aquatics and we pay you within 5 days. Once introduced to a client, you may not solicit them for lifeguarding outside of your association with LifeCycle Aquatics. That said, you are free to lifeguard any other private events you find on your own. This: *
