Tenara studies at Montclair State University where she majors in exercise science. Tenara has three years of prior swim teaching experience, and specializes in beginner and intermediate levels. With Tenara's patient and fun style, students will learn water safety, and stroke introduction and refinement for paddle stroke, freestyle and elementary backstroke. Tenara is committed to creating a fun and supportive learning environment. Tenara also has experience and training for teaching children on the autism spectrum. Like all of our teachers, Tenara is a certified lifeguard. Tenara says, "I always make sure I'm giving my best to help the kids improve!"
Tenara teaches 6-mo and older, beginner through intermediate levels. Tenara teaches at Rabkin Drive on the Montclair/Clifton border, and also makes some house calls on Saturdays. She will teach from late June through Aug. 19. |
